Maya Lee is fifteen years old and has attended Harlem School of the Arts for almost ten years. She joined the HSA Prep program as a Visual Arts student in 2011 and considers 2014 to be her best year yet.  Maya attended HSA galas in both 2013 and 2014, where she worked on a three-hour live abstract painting, and also completed a painting in front of a live audience for an event at HSA for the NFL Players Association and Harlem Fine Arts Show.  A student at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts, Maya attends HSA courses after school.  Among all her courses, photography is one of her greatest passions.  She enjoys taking close-up portraits and also has a talent for developing and printing, which is her favorite process in photography.
