Chester Canasa was born and raised in Long Island, New York and is a freshman in the Fashion Institute of Technology’s photography program. His love of photography started by picking up his family’s point and shoot camera at the age of 16. From there, he invested his time learning the basics and researching the masters of photography. His photographic work captures the mundane and everyday life actions of society that essentially transform into timeless moments. Chester seeks to create work that analyzes the human experience by paying close attention to facial and body expressions, as well as interactions between people and their environment.
